Michael Hannah Blackerby has been playing with fabric, glue and scissors for as long as she can remember. A long time resident of the Portland metro area she has settled for the moment in the suburbs of the west with her faithful corgi, her indifferent two kitties, her wonderful techno geek husband and highly animated teenaged son.

She has studied Apparel Design at the Art Institute of Seattle as well as the Art Institute of Portland. Currently she is enrolled at the Rock Creek Campus of Portland Community College and working towards her Associates degree.

When she's not sewing, knitting, or doing something involving fiber, glitter or needles she can usually found battling fierce murlocs in Azeroth (that's playing World of Warcraft for the non geeks out there), reading the lastest Neil Gaiman novel, or playing various board games with her friends.

She created this site in hopes of sharing her love of all things crafty. A place where she can show off her finished works, share the joys and agonies of her works in progress and talk about the projects that are still on the drawing board but she hopes to get made some day.
