I find that I have pretty wide range when it comes to the types of crafts that I find interesting.
Below you will find a list of the variety of crafts that I have been drawn to at one time or another
along with a brief description for those who may not be as familiar with the craft.  Feel free to follow the links
that will take you further down the page to links to free tutorials and patterns that are related to that craft.

Knitting
One way of turning yarn into a "fabric." Usually taking two sticks or more and involves pulling loops through loops.
Its a lot more interesting than it sounds. Trust me.
Crochet
Another way of turning yarn into a "fabric' This time normally involving only one stick, but again involving puling a loop
through a loop.
French Beaded Flowers
A technique that dates back to the 1500s, used to make beaded decorations (so actually more than just flowers) involving
components that are made by wrapping beaded wire around a central row of beads. I have a few examples in my finished works.
Sewing
Taken from Wiki - an ancient craft involving the stitching of cloth, leather, animal skins, furs, or other materials, using needle and thread.
Quilting
By quilting i'm actually including the whole process from the piecing of the fabric together to the actually quilting, which is the normally
decorative stiching that holds the layers of the fabric together
Embroidery
Taken from Wiki because i like their definition - an ancient variety of decorative needlework in which designs and pictures are created by
stitching strands of some material on to a layer of another material. Most embroidery uses thread or wool stitched onto a woven fabric, but
the stitches could be executed in, for example, wire or leather strands, and embroidery can be worked onto many materials.
Felting
A way to create fabric from wool by using heat, moisture, and pressure, rather than through weaving or knitting.
Flameworking
Better known as lampworking. The technique of heating, melting and forming glass beads and objects using a flame generated by a burner
or torch.
Beading
Working with beads to create... jewelry, embellishments, etc..
